In China, with the cost of improved technology rising, surplus labor shrinking, and demand for food quality and safety increasing, it will be just a matter of time before the country’'s hog production sector will be commercialized like that of developed countries. However, even if China'’s cost of production converges to international levels, as shown in this case study, China may continue to retain some competitive advantage because of the labor-intensive nature of the marketing services involved in hog processing and meat distribution. The supply of variety meats offers the most promising market opportunity for foreign suppliers in China. Growing rice in dry season in the upper northern region is depend upon two significant factors including, the varietal acceptance which high yield, disease and insect resistance and high market demand. The program on research and development of irrigated rice in the upper northern region has carried out the project and developed the new rice promising line, namely PRE02008-CRI-18-2-1-1 which is glutinous rice and insensitive to photoperiod. This line was obtained from single cross, PRE93001-8-1-2-1-1/ PRE1. The average yield is 854 kg/rai which are 2 and 4 % greater than SPT1 and RD14,respectively whereas the maximum yield potential reaches 984 kg/rai in wet season and 1,110 kg/rai in dry season at Phrae and Chiangrai province, respectively. การทดสอบพันธุ์ข้าวโพดลูกผสมทางการค้าในไร่กสิกร ปี 2552 Thai Agricultural

On Farm Research Project conducted commercial corn hybrids trials in farmers' field during May to December 2009. The objective of this experiment was to demonstrate and identify the suitable corn hybrids for farmers in theirs area.And also provided on opportunity for farmer to choose the cheaper and profitable hybrid seed. The trials was laid out in RCB design, composed of 10 entries, with 3 replications, in Nakhonratchasima, Lopburi, Chacherngsoa and Tak provinces. The result from combined analysis showed that SW 4452 gave the highest mean of grain yield of 880 kg/rai, but not significant different from NK 48, NK40, P30Y87 and P4296. But NK31, Cargill 717, Cargill 919, P30B80 and DK 888 gave lower yield than Suwan 4452 of 10, 12, 13, 10 and 10 percent,...
